Farm Trans New Sponsor of FEI World Cup Driving at JIM 2025

Farm Trans is the new title sponsor of these competitions. CEO Adriaan de Bruijne has a warm heart for Jumping Indoor Maastricht and the sport of four-in-hand driving.
“I’ve always had a thing for horses. Farm Frites has sponsored Koos de Ronde for many years, and now Farm Trans has joined as his main sponsor. Wildcard for Koos de Ronde
It has now been confirmed that Koos de Ronde, together with his fellow Dutchman Bram Chardon, has received a wildcard for the competition in Maastricht. They cannot earn points for the World Cup standings, but if one of them wins, they can prevent others from taking a big share of the prize money—making the battle even more exciting.
Koos de Ronde loves competing at the MECC. He was the one who first brought four-in-hand driving to Maastricht as a demonstration event and won the very first World Cup edition there in 2018. Since then, he has returned every year, often finishing on the podium.

Serious Competition
The driving event has a strong following among the audience, Koos explains:
“Competing at JIM is always fantastic. The course is great, and the competition is fierce. The atmosphere is amazing—Limburgers really know how to throw a party—and the audience gets real value for their money. First they can enjoy the jumping, then the driving where the tension builds, and finally go wild with some great music. It makes for a perfect night out, even if you don’t know much about horses or equestrian sport! It’s also great fun for our sponsor Farm Trans and their guests. I’ll do my best to win and contribute to the great atmosphere.”

Spectacle
You don’t need to be an expert or a horse enthusiast to understand the rules of the driving competition at Jumping Indoor Maastricht. The sport is easy to follow: whoever sets the fastest time and stays faultless wins. If a ball is knocked down, it costs four penalty seconds. Drivers must take risks to stay ahead of their rivals. In theory, someone who drops a ball can still win—but only if they are incredibly fast!
